Characteristics of Palu-Koro Fault based on Derivative Analysis and Euler Deconvolution Model of Gravity Data

Indonesia is located at the confluence of three plates, namely Eurasian, Indo-Australian, and Pacific plates which causes formation an active fault line. One these faults Palu-Koro fault, Sulawesi, with a shift rate 30-44 mm/year. A geophysical method such as gravity determines fault’s characteristics. Gravity data processed by derivative analysis process in form First Horizontal Derivative (FHD) Second Vertical (SVD), carried out to represent type Euler Deconvolution used determine location depth anomaly source. The results show that has high value west 0.00557-0.01087 mGal north-south direction on FHD map 0 SVD map. source can be seen more clearly modelling 50-400 m from topography study area. proven have many structures shallow depths very movements trigger earthquakes.
